Threat level for Canora in this area:

The Canora Woods -- named simply as it was the very first location where Canorakind called home -- is a huge, untouched piece of land. The majority of it consists of heavily wooded and treacherous terrain, a very lush and dense green area, home to nothing but thriving wildlife. Many Canora, both packs of various sizes and lone wolves, reside here. The most noteable of which being the Zeli'mir pack, who claim a large portion of the woods as their territory. Throughout the woods, there are parts which are less dense so beams of sunlight can just about break through, creating beautiful and dreamy landscapes. And there are even parts that are completely devoid of trees, granting relief from the suffocating canopy and allowing residents to actually admire the sky. These clearings are scattered throughout the wood and vary in size, but there is one large space in particular that is the centred part of Zeli'mir territory, referred to as The Clearing.

Outside of the Zeli'mir, many other packs also find refuge here in the Canora Woods. There are a wide variety of possible dens lurking beneath the trees. Across the gnarled and topsy-turvy landscape, there are many tunnels and caves naturally formed in the rocks and dirt. There are also plentiful sources of fresh water for drinking, bathing, swimming and hunting purposes, providing Canora with a perfect quality of life. Beautiful waterfalls dropping into small lakes are hot spots for relaxing and playing, and the water that forks off into shallow streams help bring hydration to just about every corner of the woods. No matter where a pack chooses to locate themselves, they never need to worry about travelling far for water, as it's always readily available and plenty to go around.

As well with water, food is also plentiful here in the forest. The grounds are teeming with a wide variety of wildlife - both herbivore and carnivores alike. Of course, the mighty Canora -- being at the top of the food chain -- have nothing to fear from the neighbouring species that accompany them. Wolf cousins to bobcats, birds of prey and hefty moose, all creatures of the woods naturally give a wide birth to the powerful Canora.
The Canora Woods really is an all-rounder, the perfect spot for Canora to thrive, supplying them with everthing they could ever want and need, plus more. The center body of land where the woods sit is considered the safest possible place as it is cut off from the mainland, making those who wish to encroach have to swim in order to reach it. Canora who live here really needn't worry about much at all!
