The Crushskull Mountains: appropriately named due to its hazardous and inhabitable environment. Incredibly high, steep, and unpredictable, this mountain range stretches high into the clouds and looms darkly over the surrounding landscape. Most of it is uncharted territory by most species, as the sheer drops prove to be fatal, and the supportive rocks unsteady. Only the most incredibly brave or the immensely foolish Canora set foot here.

Taught as a place to avoid, the Crushskull Mountains are notorious for being responsible for many Canora deaths. Snow-capped all year around, the tips of these cliffs are chilling, slippery, and devoid of life. Whilst beautiful to look at from the safety of the Hushed Sands, these cliffs are definitely not to be meddled with. The vertical drop that borders Lake Tropic is impossible to scale, and those daring enough to venture these unexplored heights are required to enter at either end of the Valley of Whispers.

Amidst the steep cliffs, there are apparently many hidden cave entrances providing access to a complex underground tunnel system. Who knows what dangers lurk within these cold and damp caverns? Rumour has it that there are disturbed Outcasts finding refuge there, who decorate their barren homes with bones of the dead and sing to the moon. Or could they simply be lonely and misunderstood individuals, choosing a life of seclusion in the caves away from prying eyes? The mystery continues.
