Threat level for Canora in this area:

This huge open woodland is another place where Canora kind thrive. Where it's considerably more dangerous here than in the Canora Woods, it is still a comfortable home and incredibly resourceful. It is risky simply because of the size of the land; more creatures live here and as it's connected to a greater land mass, who knows who will just wander through?

That said, it is teeming with deer and other prey animals. Canora don't have to go far in order to find a decent meal, though they will have other predators to contend with. The whole terrain is easier to traverse than the Canora Woods, as it's much flatter and less dense, so that could be considered a positive or negative depending on what the individual is looking for in a home. Where it is quicker and safer to get around, there are also less places to hide. The best cover is the thick underbrush that covers the span of the forest. There are also a few burrows and caves around, but not too many to choose from. If it is a secure cave you're looking for, travel south and head towards Ashen Heights.

It is common for Canora to pass through Regal Oak Wood on their way to the center island, where they instead find their home in Canora Woods where it's more secure. But considering this forest is more than double the size, there are overall way more Canora roaming around in these trees.
