The Clearing is just that -- a clearing in the forest. Whilst there are many spots scattered throughout the woods that have an abundance of trees, this one in particular is affectionately named and referred to as The Clearing, simply because it is by far the largest open area and sits comfortably within Zeli'mir borders. It serves as a meeting spot, a relaxing sun trap, a safe place for pups to play, for Canora to gather and commune. It is usually bustling with Canora activity each day, by Zeli'mir pack members and visitors alike. It is a somewhat famous location for the species as it stands out like a sore thumb in the otherwise dense forest.

In appearance, it is an almost perfect circle patch of lush grass, bordered by the trees and shrubs that overcrowd the rest of the woodland. The shadows that paint themselves across the ground help Canora determine the time of day as the sun moves across the sky. During peak hours, it provides the perfect spot to sprawl out and soak up the rays -- a rare treat for those used to living beneath the dense canopy. Outside of that, The Clearing tends to be the location within Zeli'mir territory that official meetings and discussions take place. If food is dragged in, The Clearing is where it is laid for residents to feast. If a threat presents itself in the forest, The Clearing is where Canora folk retreat to in order to group together and plan courses of action.
